Home Is is a short radio play commissioned as part of La Jolla Playhouse's Walks of Life, an auditory theater project created during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Designed to be experienced while walking through one’s own neighborhood, the piece invites listeners into an intimate, sound-based world that blurs the boundary between private and public life. Through sound, voice, and atmosphere, Home Is explores the shifting meaning of home: not only as a physical space, but as something felt, remembered, and imagined in relation to others.
