BlaQSpace

Black Queer Womxn Claiming Space

BlaQSpace is a series of original radio plays developed by participants of SoulKiss Theater, exploring how Black queer women claim space - in their communities, in their bodies, and within society.

Developed through a collaborative playwriting process, the series centers participant voices as writers and storytellers, transforming lived experience into narrative sound work.

The series will be presented as a digital audio release and live listening experience.

SoulKiss Theater, founded by Miki Vale, is an arts education and performance initiative that centers and celebrates the voices of Black queer women through storytelling, playwriting, and collective creation.

This project is supported by Far South Border North and William Male Foundation.
