I came to art through Hip Hop. Before I had language for theatre, sound design, or community practice, I understood rhythm, story, voice, and survival. Hip Hop taught me how to make something out of what was available, how to tell the truth with style, and how to turn lived experience into something people could feel.
Over time, my practice expanded into playwriting, sound design, DJing, teaching, community organizing, and cultural exchange. I create music, plays, soundscapes, workshops, and performance experiences rooted in real life.
I believe art heals by helping us speak our truth, feel less alone, and imagine what else is possible. Whether I’m writing a song, creating a play, designing sound, or leading a room through a collaborative process, I’m interested in how story, rhythm, sound, and gathering can help people feel seen, connected, and powerful.
Community is not separate from my practice; it is the practice. I create rooms where people do not simply witness stories, but enter them, shape them, and leave knowing their own lives, stories, and voices have value.
